Redlab, Toronto brought me onboard to recreate the ancient statue of the Colossus of Rhodes, one of the wonders of the ancient world. The project required two key shots: a 40-second wide shot to showcase the scale of the statue in its environment, and a 20-second close-up to highlight the intricate details and material, while still conveying the monument's immense size in relation to its surroundings.
The textures, scenery, and animation were all developed in Cinema 4D, with final color grading and effects added in After Effects.
The final animation was used on TV and online.
